Services
The occupational therapist can assist a person with arthritis who may be having difficulty managing daily activities. The therapist may help by educating patients about strategies for managing fatigue and improving sleep, using joints wisely to minimize pain or manage activities and by recommending adaptive aids. The therapist can also make custom splints or orthotics, or suggest off-the-shelf alternatives.
Learn more about the services provided by an OT by visiting the Who Do I Need to See page.
